Our Services

At Equator Care & Disability Services we offer a wider range of NDIS services to support participants to meet their needs by emphasizing the principles of a person-centred approach.  We believe participants are the experts of their own lives and it is important to form a professional relationship with them by following individuals goals and needs as doing so will help Equator care and Disability Services to master the quality of care and support delivered 

Assistance with daily life

  •  Assistance with showering  
  • Dressing,  
  • All essential household chores 


Support coordination

 

  •  we help participants understand the NDIS framework, including their funding and the types of support available.
  •  Assist in finding and connecting with appropriate service providers tailored to the participant's needs, including therapy, personal care, and community activities.
  • we help participants build skills to advocate for themselves and increase independence in managing their support.
  • at Equatorcare we regularly review the participant’s progress toward their goals and make necessary adjustments to their support plans in partnership with families and service providers for the best outcomes


Household Tasks

  • Cleaning bathrooms & Toilets   
  • Maintaining the kitchen in spoteless manner   
  • Dusting and looking after Laundries  
  • Cleaning the living area and any proximity used by the participants ( backyard, front yard and Garage)

Assist life stage

  • support connection  
  • assistance with accommodation and tenancy obligations 
  •  life transition planning including mentoring, peer support and individual skill development  
  • assistance with decision making, daily planning, budgeting

Community Participation

  • visiting your friends and families  
  • Active hobbies, such as bike riding, skiing or kayaking  
  • Playing sport, such as tennis, surfing or basketball  
  • Going out to the movies or a concert, watch AFL game   
  • Going places for fun, such as shopping or visiting a museum  
  • Relaxing, like meditation or yoga 
  •  Learning new skills, like dance and art classes
